Wake up clear.

Morning Mirror is a drink less app for the evening: three minutes of audio before the first drink that show you tomorrow morning, so you decide from there.

When does Morning Mirror help?

Weekday evenings, somewhere between 6 and 8, after work, when the first glass starts to look like the only way to switch off. The app is built for that hour, and it only ever looks as far ahead as tomorrow morning.

By 8 pm, after a long day, the easy choice gets louder. That's not weakness. In a 2022 lab study, a day of demanding mental work tilted people toward quicker, easier choices about money; it didn't look at drinking, but the pattern will sound familiar.

How does it work?

You press play, and for three minutes a calm voice walks you into tomorrow at 7 am: the light, the first coffee, how your head feels. Then you decide what tonight looks like, from there.

  1. Three minutes tonight. One short audio session, written by a person, ready before the first drink. Two taps from the evening reminder to the first word, and it works offline.
  2. Tomorrow morning, first. The session is about the morning you want, and you decide tonight from there.
  3. One tap in the morning. How did you wake up? One tap, under 20 seconds. Over the weeks, your own mornings become the reason.

When the pull is strong: The Urge is a separate two-minute session, one tap from the home screen.
Once you've finished 14 evenings: you can also plan a night out in advance. It doesn't count for you or against you.

What if it doesn't help?

30-night guarantee

30 nights. Not more alcohol-free evenings than before? One tap in the app opens a full-refund request — Apple processes it, no email to us.

Is this a mindful drinking app?

Yes, if mindful drinking means choosing your evening on purpose. Morning Mirror doesn't ask you to stop, and it doesn't count what you drink.

It gives the decision three quiet minutes and a clear picture of tomorrow. It's for people who want to drink less on weeknights, not for a medical problem. If drinking feels out of control, a doctor or a local alcohol support service is the better first step.

Functioning on the outside, surviving on the inside: acting fine, and hoping nobody notices the smell or rings the doorbell unannounced. I built Morning Mirror for the evening before mornings like that.

What is hangxiety?

Hangxiety is the anxious, uneasy feeling some people get the day after drinking. Read what it is, why it happens, and how the evening before can change the morning.

No account. No phone number. No chatbot — every session is written by a person and spoken by a synthesized voice.
